This body of work is about five years old and ongoing. I am fascinated by the artificial beauty and frozen perfection of mannequins and captured faces that inhabit store windows and gaze from billboards and advertisements. I play with these figures, dissecting them, playing visually with the reflections on their window-glass dwellings and the fashions that dress these willing subjects for my camera.  These images represent in-camera layering, are shot on film, and printed digitally without alteration.  Both in color and black and white they comment on the juxtaposition of the real world and the fantasy world of fashion and beauty.
