Prague is a marvel of a city, a small town really; the streets are arranged in such a way that when you wander, you eventually end up back where you started. The river is wide and beautiful, and the streets narrow and winding. The Jewish museum is powerful, and the temples, from the Old Temple to the New Old Temple to the Spanish Temple, capture the city’s Jewish heritage poignantly. It’s a cosmopolitan city in some ways, and yet, still a village in some ways. I found wonderful nooks and crannies in my days there. In case you find yourself there, the Kafka Museum is difficult to find, but well worth the time if you’re a fan of Kafka and existentialism.
